TechCrunch
I have been reading TechCrunch for a little over three years now. The site mainly focuses on web start ups and technology, but it serves as a great source of information for finding cutting edge web applications. I have probably tried more web services after reading about them on TechCrunch than I can count, easily my favorite website on the internet. I especially love reading some of the content from the CEO’s of different companies and getting their take on their personal rise to success. Some of the concepts and I ideas I have about my own endeavors are sparked from different articles I read on TechCrunch. I highly recommend reading it if you love technology and the internet.
Hypebeast
The last few months I have greatly increased the amount of time I spend sifting through Hypebeast articles. I first heard about Hypebeast after reading a post on Kanye West’s original blog (recently launched his new blog). It turns out that Hypebeast is just the dose of fashion and style that I felt was missing in my daily routine of web browsing. Several of my recently purchased shoes and apparel were because I saw them on Hypebeast and found out more information on the brands they covered. Hypebeast occasionally posts art and video cinematography articles that add even more culture to their website. It is easily one of the best sources of information on trending fashion.
YouTube
YouTube is probably a favorite website for a lot of people for a wide variety of reasons. For me, YouTube has been a source that finds almost any type of content that I feel has a video element. Speeches, demonstrations, reviews, music – almost anything I can think of YouTube has on their website. I have found literally hundreds of useful bits of information on YouTube that I have been able to utilize to some extent. Within the last year, it has also been a great publishing outlet for some of my own personal content. I am becoming increasingly wired to use YouTube in the same manner as I would for Google search and I think that is one of the greatest elements to the website. I am sure it is or will be a favorite for many more people to come – I love it.
