Yesterday I tweeted about one of the major projects I have been conceptualizing for roughly a year. The “secret” project, MyGamingSetup,or MyGS is actually a website for the gaming community at large. Within the last two months I have put together a very basic outline of the website’s functional purpose. The website’s intentions are quite simple — share your gaming setup.
After the endless “post your setup” threads I have seen for the last 10 years, I figured it was about time to make something that allowed people the opportunity to post their gaming setups in a central place. I cannot give away too many details about all the ins and outs of the website (I kept it secret for 9 months), but there are a number of other core website functions that I hope to have built into the final product.
I cannot give a definitive date on when the final version will be released. The current version is only a mock-up for the actual programmers and designers. You can sign up and check out some of my teammates gaming setups, but very little will be done to update this version (alpha) of the site. Know that when it is completed, it will be awesome.
