Gears of War 3 Lessons #17: How to Use the Digger

Mr. @Skyzyn was able to complete his Digger Lessons tutorial today! This week’s Digger tutorial emphasizes a few key points to becoming a better Digger user:

Practicing different angles
Learning various “digger friendly” terrain
Planning future shots

Hey There,
I thought I’d start with commenting on the intro because you both have mentioned on a few occasions your interested in knowing what people think. I think the general concept is good. The idea of a logo appearing out of nothing but a few revolving circles, as if it were ‘amazing’ ha. I really like it.

Going onto the video:
I really learned a lot about hard aiming the digger in this video. I usually tend to rely on blind firing them into large groups of people, just because my initial thought is its almost a frag in a way-just throw it and watch the limbs fly. Using safe angles that allow to keep your right hand is a great thought, especially when trying to hold certain power weapon positions. I use the angle in the video to get people going for the digger all the time.
Only thing I personally want is more examples on other maps, just becuase I like the variety while watching a movie. Keeps me more interested.
