Cliff Bleszinski Interviewed by Major League Gaming

Major League Gaming just released an E3 interview with Gears of War’s Cliff Bleszinski. At the very end of the interview Cliffy states, “I hope the game (Gears of War 3) gets picked up on the circuit.” Dmaq followed up by saying, “It probably will.” I am sure there will be plenty of people in the MLG Gears of War community that are going to be overly excited about those choice words. I’m still in belief that the Gears of War 3 has quite the uphill battle in order to be a full-fledged game on the circuit, but it’s looking promising.

I wasn’t ever a Gears follower back in its MLG days (Rainbow player) but I will be competing on G3. Maybe I can get Cream or Cloud to teach me how to be an “All-Star” lol

Yea, I’ve attended 3 or 4 MLG events, and I was always in the Halo camp. Been playing since H1, and honestly I can’t stand the circuit with Reach. The game is horrible. And lets not start about COD and it’s campish nature and 1 shot weapons. Gears will take a lot of squad skill, and I’m impressed. The first game I picked up for 360 was GOW 1, and I loved it…but hated it’s inconsistency online. I of course bought GOW 2, but mainly for the co-op and horde as Multiplayer was still just too “broken” and I felt like I was getting bullcrapped a lot because of host. But with Gears 3, the beta really impressed me and I finally think Epic has put together a solid shooter worthy of many gamers to enjoy. Unless Halo 4 changes my mind… MLG and Gamebattles for GOW 3 is my new home. Can’t wait till this game come out so I can start learning it forwards and back like I once did with Halo.
