The Rooster Teeth Expo was an absolute blast! It was fantastic being able to meet so many people that enjoyed our upcoming game Loadout. Even more surprising were the number of fans of my YouTube channel that told me they got into Gears because of my videos (most people at RTX are Halo fans). I really do appreciate all of the continued support!
At RTX we unveiled a new map called Fissure which we included in a build of the game that was similar to what we showed at PAX East. We also decided to do some live play-by-play commentary, so I was able to commentate a number of matches, including one while Freddie Wong was playing. Last but not least, I was able to play some Halo 4 which probably made RTX one of the best events I have ever had the pleasure of attending! All-in-all I thoroughly enjoyed myself and can’t wait to start traveling once again!
If you plan on going to QuakeCon, some of the Loadout team will be there with Alienware to demo the game. The event is August 2nd – 5th with more information listed on the website. If you won’t be at QuakeCon, we’ll also be at PAX Prime in late August.
