Review: AverMedia Live Gamer HD C985 Capture Card

Overall Thoughts

The Live Gamer HD is currently my go-to capture card for all Xbox 360 and PC gaming. One of the enticing features for me was the compatibility with Xsplit and the low pc resource consumption. One drawback is definitely the price for anyone starting out in the YouTube or streaming scene at $220, it puts it in a higher priced range than what some of you may be willing to spend. There is also the issue with audio synchronization, however AverMedia continues to release driver updates to fix problems.

All-in-all this is definitely a very solid capture card with easy to use software and outstanding video quality for YouTubers and streamers.
